Taylor Beebe
Taylor Beebe is an aspiring environmental planner. As such, she seeks to utilize her knowledge of social and ecological systems to plan sustainable, resilient, and equitable communities. During her academic career, she has gained expertise through coursework for her Environmental Studies major, Urban and Regional Planning minor, and Geographic Information System (GIS) certificate programs. During this time, she has maintained a 4.0 GPA in each program and created several projects utilizing ArcGIS, Python, and Microsoft Office Suite. Many of these projects required her to create urban and rural plans that addressed the unsustainable infrastructure of existing communities. She has further honed this expertise through long-term engagement with local volunteer and internship opportunities: Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, University of Central Florida Arboretum, Treasure Coast Wildlife Center, Environmental Studies Center, and Palm Beach County Planning Division. The work samples provided in her portfolio help to illustrate her expertise in environmental planning.
